Need a healthy family activity? Try a little yoga!
Therapeutic yoga can be a healthful way of building resilience. Many of us have learned the value of this trait in new ways in 2020, and as the year draws to a close we thought it would be fun to revisit a few suggestions for practices anyone can enjoy.
In her April post, yoga therapist Kim Searl suggests three activities for de-stressing and exploring your resilient inner and outer worlds—with or without kids! Whether you’re cozied up inside or have a patch of outdoor space, try her ideas for introducing into your world some yogic movement (asana, in which you are mindfully attending to your experience), breathwork (pranayama), and accessible meditation.
